Up for sale is a rare and large original Atlas/Map of Brotherhood Park/Manhattan Field where the New York Baseball Giants and the New York Federal League made their home. This Insurnace Map is a larger size than the normal as it measures 22 x 32. It is in Ex+ condition. The Giants made this their home after being kicked out of the first Polo Grounds which was on Fifth Avenue and 110th Street. Columbia University football was the last tenant before it was torn down.
The roman numerals indicate how many stories each building is and each color represents the type of structure. Yellow is wood, brown is stone, pink is brick. The Xs through the buildings indicate it is a barn or stable. The brown streets indicate cobblestone while green indicates macadamized pavement and white means it is unpaved. And the light green lines on the map show who the first recorded and original landowners were as well as the original streets.
